Pelee, the Goddess of Fire in native Hawaiian religion, is regarded as the creator of the Hawaiian islands. Symbolically, Pelee is a symbol that expresses both the power of a God & the warmth of a loving mother.
The Pelee-mum represents these characteristics beautifully with flaming red tips and a soft yellow body. These mums are typically grown as a florist seasonal indoor plant for fall décor; they make great hostess gifts.
